GPUpdate Force

If you have recently been added to a folder on the W:\ drive, access can take up to 24 hours to sync. If you still are unable to access that folder, you can try manually updating the Group Policy by following the steps below:

1. Save all of your work and close any programs you have open
2. In the search bar on your taskbar, type cmd and select the Command Prompt app
3. Type gpupdate /force and press Enter
   • Wait for a minute for all of the text to finish loading
4. When it says OK to log off? (Y/N) , type Y and press Enter
5. Your computer will restart; try logging in and accessing the folder
